Florence Parham

HOMER – Florence O. Parham, 85, died Sunday, February 28, 2010, at her residence.

Born in Danielsville, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Bertie McElreath. Mrs. Parham was preceded in death by her husband, J.P. Parham; and brothers, Odell McElreath and Dallas McElreath.

Survivors include a sister, Florella Culpepper, Banks County; grandchildren, Shavone McDuffie, Kim McElreath and Elaine McElreath; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 2, at 3 p.m. from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Gordon officiating. The body will lie in state for thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, March 1, from 6 to 9 p.m.
