HULL - Peggy Chandler Seay, 67, died Saturday, February 20, 2010.
Born in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late John Frank and Maude McCannon Chandler. Mrs. Seay was preceded in death by a son, Robert Andrew Seay.
Survivors include her husband, Joe A. Seay; a son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Tonya Seay; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Jim Welch, Penny and Marty Johnson, Brandy and Bruce Senclair; brothers, Billy Chandler, Bobby Chandler; sister, Carolyn Whitworth; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 23, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home with the Revs. Jim Peterson and Nathan Palmer officiating. Burial will be at Sonlight Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, February 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Relay for Life.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
