FORSYTH – Flora Deal “Bill” Peugh, 93, died Saturday, February 20, 2010, in Monroe County Hospital.
Born on November 25, 1916, in Braselton, she had resided under the care of her great-niece, LaVue Sanders, for the past three-and-a-half years. She was the former owner and operator of Duchess Beauty Salon in Decatur, and later moved to Fairburn where she continued her beautician work. Mrs. Peugh was preceded in death by her husband, retired Coast Guard Veteran Jesse Durel Peugh; three brothers; and six sisters.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, at 1 p.m., February 23, in Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Decatur with the Rev. Ken Stephens officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Forsyth United Methodist Church, Family Night Supper, 68 W. Johnson St., Forsyth, GA 31029, or to the First Baptist Church Meals on Wheels, 95 West Morse St., Forsyth, GA 31029.
