HULL – Betsy Pierce, 63, died Wednesday, February 17, 2010.
A native and lifelong resident of this area, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Carrie Martin. She will be remembered as a person who lived to the fullest and got the most out of each day. Mrs. Pierce was preceded in death by her husband, Cody Pierce; sons, William Rusty Pierce and Ray Thomas Wilson; and a grandson, Christopher Ray Blackwell.
Survivors include children, Diane Dearing, Conyers, Eleanor Alwood, Cleveland, Linda Pitts, Colbert, Michael Pierce, Alto, Loretta Clark, Eatonton, Deborah Wilson, Lake Placid, Fla., and Rodney Pierce, Lexington; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 20, at 2 p.m., from the Winterville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, February 20, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
