ATLANTA – Janet Mathis, 83, died Monday, February 15, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alva Monroe Mathis.

Survivors include her children, Mike (Diane) Mathis, Ken Mathis, Philip (Joanne) Mathis, Neal (Becky) Mathis, Greg (Robin) Mathis and Fran Mathis; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 18, at 11 a.m., at Bethsada Baptist Church in Dublin.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association at www.donate.americanheart.org.
