JEFFERSON – Marvin John Lynn Jr., 56, died Thursday, February 4, 2010, at Athens Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
Born February 15, 1953, in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Marvin John Lynn Sr. and Sara Lynn Philips. Mr. Lynn was preceded in death by a brother, Weldon G. Lynn; and grandmother, Adell Tiller “Big Mama” Couch.
Survivors include his wife, Janice E. Lynn, Jefferson; sons, John Elton, Eric Wesley, Jacob Marvin Lynn, Clay Haggard and Rick Beatty; a daughter, Jessica D. Pittman; brother, Mike Lynn, Jefferson; sister, Pam Lynn Truelove; and grandchildren, Brannon Thomas, Tristain Dwayne Nix, Lily Grace and Kerigen Reece Pittman.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, February 21, at 5 p.m. from the Living Word Worship Center of Jefferson. All relative, family and friends are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory at P.O. Box 234, Jefferson, GA 30549.
