BOGART - Morris F. Patrick, 78, died Friday, January 22, 2010.
A native of Franklin County, he was the son of the late Lenzy and Ruth Clark Patrick Beck Bagwell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Hamby Patrick; and siblings, Charles Patrick, Euri Patrick, James Ted Beck and Martha Reeves. Mr. Patrick was a retired residential carpenter.
Survivors include children, Ronald Patrick, Shelbie Nalley and Chad Patrick, all of Bogart, Stanley Patrick, Winder, and Tracy Patrick, Ila; siblings, Mary Frances Shead, Aiken, S.C., Opal Sherwood, Hull, Clyde Beck, Jr., Arcade, Bobby Bagwell, Commerce, Mary Duncan, Bogart, Howard Bagwell and Pam Cash, both of Statham, and Ann Akins, Crawfordville; fifteen grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, January 25, from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Strickland officiating. Burial was in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Michael Nalley, Josh Patrick, Nathan Patrick, Nick Patrick, Chris Patrick and Brian Terry.
Carmen Thrasher sang “Precious Memories” and Misti Cash sang “What A Day That Will Be."
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
