WINDER - Jerry Mobley, 69, died Thursday, February 11, 2010.
Born in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Lucious Mobley and Ruby Moon Mobley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Joyce Barnette Mobley. He was a member of The Mason – Winder Lodge 333 and had worked at Lucent Technology.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Gene Rivers, Winder; son, Mickey Mobley, Winder; five grandchildren; and sister, Carol Wilson, Loganville.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 14, at 2 p.m., from Smith Memory Chapel, with the Rev. Al Garvin officiating. The body will be cremated.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
