LULA – Lamond David Campbell, 72, died Thursday, February 11, 2010, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Banks County he was the son of the late W.A. and Nettie Shubert Campbell. He was retired from Roper Pump Company and was a member of Silver Shoals Baptist Church. Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by sons, Andy Campbell and Ellis Crane.
Survivors include his wife, Freida Crocker Campbell, Lula; a son, Danny Campbell, Lula; daughter, Donna Marcus, Lula; brothers, William Campbell and Edward Campbell, both of Lula, and Kenneth Campbell, Commerce; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 13, at 2 p.m. from the Silver Shoals Baptist Church with the Revs. Perry Smith and Swayne Carlan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, February 12, from 6 to 9 p.m.
