HOMER – Lacey Lee Pruitt, 29 died Thursday, February 4, 2010 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Athens.
Born in Hall County, he was the son of Diane Cotton Pruitt, Homer, and James Pruitt, Danielsville. He was a 1999 graduate of Banks County High School. Mr. Pruitt was preceded in death by his grandparents, Morgan and Grace Cotton and J.W. Pruitt.
Survivors along with his parents include a brother and sister-in-law, Curt and Susan Pruitt, Homer; a sister, Rhonda Pruitt, Homer; niece, Chelsea Pruitt, Homer; and grandmother, Virginia Pruitt, Homer.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, February 7, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Rev. James Harvey officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. View Baptist Church cemetery, Baldwin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 6 from 7-9 p.m.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.

Lacey its been years since we set at the old football feild and laughed together! You meant the world to me and I know you had a limted time here but the time you gave us will never be forgotten. I thought the world of you and I am sad to read you passed I will never forget the good times we had in school and the sound of you telling jokes! You are in my thoughts and prayers I cant wait to catch up one day when I get there to heaven! Miss you buddy!!!
