Brittni Dianne Gowan, 17, of Colbert, died Friday, July 4, 2008.
She was born on April 12, 1991, the daughter of Richard R. and Beverly Elaine Anglin. She was employed with the Madison County Board of Education.
Survivors in addition to her parents, include a brother, Michael Gowan; and a sister, Melissa Gowan.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 7, at Riverside Baptist Church with the Revs. Joe Wood and Lee Adams officiating. Burial was in Colbert Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tim Laflam, Allen Knight, Cody Tittle, Scottie Willoughby, Trandum Tittle and Stephen Pickelsimer.
Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.

Brittni Gowan was a beautiful sweet girl and theres not a day that goes by that we don't think of her kind spirit. She truly will be missed by us all.
