WINDER - Scott M. Bridges, 54, died on Thursday, January 21, 2010, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was the son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert E. Bridges Sr. of Gainesville. He was a former co-owner of the Bridges and Blalock Construction Company and was a master craftsman. He was currently employed by the Advantage Healthcare System. Mr. Bridges was preceded in death by brothers, James P. Bridges and Dr. Robert E. (Ned) Bridges Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy; a son, David; a sister, Kathy Huie, Calhoun; and brother, Lee, Doraville.
A celebration of his life was held on January 31 at the Sanford Community Center in Hull.

Little & Davenport Funeral Home, Gainesville, was in charge of arrangements.

Sorry to read about your loss. Death is hard and tragic or sudden death brings added pain and grief. May you be comforted by your good memories and the many Bible promises. Isaiah 25:8 speaks of a time when death and all the pains associated with it will be a thing of the past. PSH
