COMMERCE – Lee Toney, 62, died Monday, January 25, 2010, at Elbert Memorial Hospital.
Born in Banks County, he was the son of the late Oma Lee and Ophelia Miller Toney. He was a member of Webbs Creek Baptist Church and was a United States Marine Veteran of Vietnam. He was employed as a crew foreman with Nichols Disinfectant Services.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathryn Nichols, Commerce; son, Josh Toney, Commerce; sister, Faye Griffin, Jefferson; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 28, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Kevin McCook officiating. Burial will be in Webbs Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
