Bernice Duncan, 86, of Hull, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at the St. Mary’s Hospice House.
Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late James Ferdinand and Mattie Maybelle Wortham Stewart. She was a homemaker and a member of the Liberty Methodist Church. Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Duncan.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy Duncan, Hull; daughter, Elizabeth Collins, Danielsville; grandchildren, Wesley and Dale Duncan; a great-grandchild, Courtney Duncan; great-great-grandchildren, Casen Duncan and Christy Highfield; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 11, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Peek officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 10, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
