Michael Martin

CLEVELAND – Michael Isaiah Martin, 5-month-old son of Micah Seth Martin and Jennifer Trammell-Martin of Cleveland, died Friday, January 22, 2010.

Isaiah was a happy baby who was full of life, and brought joy to all who knew him. Although his life was short-lived, Isaiah touched the lives of many people. He was just learning to roll over and beginning to learn to laugh out loud. He loved to smile and laugh at his sister, who had a ball making him laugh. Isaiah was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Joseph L. and Jessie B. Trammell.

Survivors in addition to his parents include sisters, Donna Trammell and Carrieann Martin, both of Cleveland; grandfather and step-grandmother, Stanley and Rita Trammell, Cleveland; grandmother, Sheila Trammell, Cleveland, Tenn.; grandfather, Milton Martin Jr. and step-grandmother, Lynn Martin, Clarkesville; grandmother and step-grandfather, Stacy and Frank Martin, Gainesville; great-grandparents, Ellen Stafford and Jerry Chastain, Cleveland, Tenn., Milton Martin Sr. and Demorise Martin, Gainesville; Godparents, Amanda and Adam Garrish, Gainesville; three aunts; four uncles; nine great-aunts; nine great-uncles; eight great-great-aunts; and two great-great-uncles.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 26, at 3 p.m. from the Bethany United Methodist Church with the Revs. Tony Watson and Danny Green officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
