We weren't aware of Mrs. Betty Parks death until after the memorial service date, had we have known we would have been there to pay our respects for her & her family. Mrs. Betty was like a mother/grandmother figure to my husband & I. We have many good memories of her to carry with us for the rest of our lives & to share with our children. My husband Joseph & my brother-n-law Scott used to go help Mrs. Betty on her farm many years ago, to gather & store hay bales for the cattle. When they weren't doing that for her we enjoyed just going to her home being welcomed in just as if we were family & chatting to Mrs. Betty . We will miss her, she was a great Christian woman & we thaught of her as she was a part of our family. Our condolences go out to her family. Our prayers are extended to you all. I know that one day when we pass on or the Lord comes back which ever should come first , We will see Mrs. Betty Parks again in Heaven.
