BALDWIN – Mary Andrews Parker, 82, died Thursday, January 14, 2010, at her residence.
Born on October 26, 1927, in Banks County, she was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Viola Ward Andrews. She was a member of the Lamar Christian Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by husband, Luther Parker; sisters, Rumyrthe Wilbanks, Christine Wilkinson and June White; and brothers, Carman Andrews and Jack Andrews.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Lamar and Janice Parker, Cornelia, Greg and Vickie Parker, Baldwin; sister-in-law, Elise Mae Andrews, Baldwin; brother-in-law, Garner White, Baldwin; granddaughters and their spouses, Holly and Chris Woods, Hollywood, Mandy and J.D. Dalton, Homer; grandson, Clyde Parker, Baldwin; and great-grandchildren, Cheyanne Dalton and Montana Dalton, Homer.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 16, at 2 p.m., at the Lamar Christian Church with Pastor Bill Moody, Tommy Wilkinson and David Terrell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, January 15, from 7 to 9 p.m.
