ROYSTON – Floyd Edward Holladay, 82, died Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at the Hartwell Healthcare Center in Hartwell.
Born in Broken Arrow, Okla., on April 21, 1927, he was the son of Howard Henry and Addie Alene Barbour Holladay. He was a retired truck driver and attended the First Love Outreach Center in Commerce.
Survivors include his wife, Lima “Beanie” Staton Holladay; sons, Kevin L. Holladay, Spring Valley, Ill., and the Rev. Keith E. Holladay, Jefferson; daughters, Renita D. Thompson, Cumming, and Rhonda C. Mitchell, Gainesville; a sister, Dorothy Martin, Checotah, Okla; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 16, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith E. Holladay and Mr. Kevin L. Holladay officiating. Burial will be in the Franklin Memorial Gardens-North.
The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends Friday, January 15, from 7 to 9 p.m. The family is at home.
