JEFFERSON – Joe White, 61, died Monday, January 11, 2010.
Born in Indianola, Miss., he was the son of the late Bradford T. and Mary Ellen Hardin White. He was retired from CDC where he worked in communications and was a ham radio operator – KE4TV. Mr. White was preceded in death by a brother, James “Jim” White.
Survivors include his wife, Demetria White, Jefferson; nephew, Jonathan Moss; cousins, Kathy Moss, Frank Hardin and David K. Hardin; and Aunt Beadle.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 15, at 2 p.m., from Smith Memory Chapel. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.

Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
