NICHOLSON – Troy Michael Spivey, 33, died Friday, January 8, 2010, at St. Mary’s Hospice House.
Born in Jackson County, he was the son of Troy Marshall Spivey and the late Dora Lou Leachmon Allen. A special mother and father, Betty and Mike Blessing also survive. He was married to Tammy Hinesley-Spivey of Nicholson.
Survivors not already mentioned include a son, Toby Michael Kendall Spivey, Carlton; daughter, Katie Darlene Spivey, Carlton; siblings, Crystal Gail Sherrill, Thomas Lee, Gregory Elrod, Monica Evans, Robert Allen, Wesley Allen and Crystal Keen.
Memorial services will be held Monday, January 18, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family at that time.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.

I am sorry for your loss. I would like to share my sincere comfort in your time of grief. One of the things that has always comforted me is this scripture in Isaiah 25:8. I hope that you will be able to find as much comfort from this scripture as I have.
