Charles Shaw

BRASELTON – Charles Elmo Shaw, 70, died Wednesday, January 6, 2010.

Born in Williamsburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Rev. Creghton Hayes Shaw and Katie Ruth Roberts Shaw. Mr. Shaw was a veteran of the United States Army. He had many loves including the Lord, his family, music, playing guitar and traveling, loved ones stated.

Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Lois Shaw, Braselton; daughters and sons-in-law, Cyndi and Charles Pinion and Meredith and Kevin Brown, all of Braselton, Wanda and Charles Perkins, Loganville; grandchildren, Amanda, Danielle, Jessica, Chadd, Crayton, Charlie, Chaz, Shaun, Ray and Gena; great-grandchildren, Myranda, Rusty, Luke and Dallas; a sister, Hazel Frazier, Mobile, Ala.; special best friend Donald Holcomb, Hoschton; and a host of beloved family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9, at 11 a.m., at Memorial Park South Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Phil Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, January 8, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial Park South Funeral Home, Flowery Branch, is in charge of arrangements.
