HOSCHTON – Terry Joe Peppers, 54, died Tuesday, January 5, 2010.

Born in Walton County, he was the son of Willie Joe and Betty Stowe Peppers of Monroe. He was a member of Phillips Drive Baptist Church.

Survivors in addition to his parents include a daughter, Samantha Peppers, Bethlehem; one grandchild, Greyson Robert Peppers; brother, Timothy Gene Peppers, Monroe; and a sister, Sandra Peppers Everett, Covington.

Funeral services will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 6, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will be cremated.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1684 Barnett Shoals Rd., Athens, GA 30605.

Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.

Terry Joe was loved by my whole family and even though he and my aunt weren't married was still the greatest uncle we ever knew and the only one i have claimed. He will be missed and is still loved very dearly. Although, i am not familiar with everyone's name my prayers and heart go out to his daughter sam, his brother tim, and everyone left to bear the heartache of losing him. we love you all. i am just sorry it has been so long and i didn't know sooner. If there is anything i can do to help please don't hesitate to look me up i am listed in white county.

Terry Joe was like a Uncle to me and my siblings.I will not forget the good times we had when he was with my Aunt.Terry Joe was loved very much and will be missed very much.My prayers go out to the family.
