COMMERCE – Hoyt Anderson, 74, died Thursday, December 31, 2009, at the Athens Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian H. Anderson.
Survivors include grandsons, Mark Hayes, Commerce, and Michael Hayes, Danielsville; granddaughter, Kaylee Hayes, Statham; sisters, Pauline Carthern and Willie Mae Tomlin, both of Commerce, Shorty Gillreath, Madison County, and Viola Alexander, Nicholson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, January 3, from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Revs. Winfred Bingham and David Strickland officiating. Burial was in the Grey Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Egleston Hospital for Children in Atlanta.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
