Paul Standridge

MAYSVILLE – Paul John Standridge, 65, died Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Born in Jackson County he was the son of the late Ruel and Annie Blalock Standridge. He was retired from Columbia Farms Feed Mill as an assistant plant manager.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Jean McKie Standridge, Maysville; daughters, Paula Smith, Maysville, and Janet Brown, Jefferson; a son, Duane Standridge, Commerce; sisters, Ann Chitwood and Mary Daniels, both of Commerce; brothers, Samuel Standridge, Commerce, Billy Standridge, Texas and Bobby Standridge, Jefferson; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2010, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Revs. Mark Mobley and Donald Nix officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
