NICHOLSON – Florine Elizabeth Pittman, 92, died Monday, December 28, 2009, at BJC Medical Center in Commerce.

Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Ed and Frances Jackson Barnett. She was a member of River of Life Worship Center and was a homemaker. Mrs. Pittman was preceded in death by her husband, William Pittman.
Survivors include a son, Hubert Pittman, Nicholson; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 30, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Revs. Dennis Kesler and Junior Sosebee officiating. Burial will be in the Gordon Chapel United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
