Connie Lea Wilbanks, 54, of Braselton, died Monday, May 12, 2008.
Born in Mecklenberg County, N.C., she was the daughter of Marjorie Thompson Hulsey of Braselton and the late John Paul Hulsey Jr. She worked several years as a clerical worker and was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church of Flowery Branch. She was a homemaker.
Survivors in addition to her mother, include her husband, John Wilbanks Jr., Braselton; daughters and son-in-law, Michelle Turner and Shanna Wilbanks, both of Braselton, Lisa and Scott Grant, Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Cindy Wilbanks, Braselton; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Trudy Hulsey III, Jerry and Sue Ellen Hulsey, all of Braselton, Jeff Hulsey, Buford; grandchildren, Daniel, McNeely and Chadler Wilbanks.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 15, at 2 p.m., at the New Liberty United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jamie Prickett officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be John Ford, Kane Davis, Andy Wilbanks, Dewey Johnson, Keith Hayes, Shane Hulsey and Rodney Davis.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 14, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
