JEFFERSON – Thomas J. Brock, 73, died Wednesday, November 25, 2009.
Born on May 5, 1936, in Walton County, he was the son of the late Clarence Enos and Lelia Blankenship Brock. He was retired from the textile manufacturing business.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Wilkes, Commerce; a son, Wayne Brock, Statham; daughter, Denise Prather, Statham; step-daughters, Gail Blackstock, Olive Branch, Miss., and Rachael Davis, Gainesville; sisters, Grace Hayes and Geneva Reed, both of Winder; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and special babies, Buddy and Suzie and the rest.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 28, at 2 p.m., at the Bethany United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike McLemore officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, November 27, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
