COMMERCE – Ellis Raymond David, 62, died Sunday, November 22, 2009.
Born in Jackson County, he was the son of Edna Myrtle David of Commerce and the late William Monroe David. He was a member of the Warren Chapel United Methodist Church and was retired from the textile industry.
Survivors in addition to his mother include a son, Trent Bonds, Jefferson; brothers, George David and Charles David, both of Athens, Randy David, Commerce; and sisters, Edna Bonds, Linda David, and Venessa Hambrick, all of Commerce.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 28, at 1 p.m., at the Warren Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jerry David officiating. Burial will be in the Commerce Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, November 27, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
