AUBURN – Dorothy Majors, 87, died Thursday, November 19, 2009.
Born in Cassett, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Pearl Davis. She was a member of Auburn First Baptist Church. Mrs. Majors was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Majors.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Jennifer Majors, Stockbridge, and Larry and Christine Majors, Springboro, Ohio; grandchildren, Mack, Natalie, Kanon, Ryan and Caroline Majors.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 23, at 2 p.m., from Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Chris Parkin and Brother Lee Sass officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 22, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Auburn First Baptist Church in Auburn.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.

They were very good to my parents when they were first married and I believe we lived with them in Derby, Kansas when I was first born.
We always knew them to be generous of heart and spirit and believe they've helped many people throughout their lifetimes.
