Gisela Darlene Light, 48, of Demorest, died Wednesday, July 2, 2008.
Born in Weisbadan, Germany, on April 3, 1960, she was the daughter of Robert and Anna Bell Dean Lunsford of Demorest. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, whom she dearly loved, loved ones stated.
Survivors in addition to her parents, include daughters and sons-in-law, Christina and Ted Dodd and Stephanie and Jeremy Coker, all of Alto; sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Larry Sutton, Batesville, Debbie and Jim Payne, El Paso, Texas, and Jackie and Marshall Baca Carlsbad, N.M.; grandchildren, Gavin Dodd and Annalyssia Coker; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, July 6, at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Free officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home, Cornelia, was in charge of arrangements.
