MARTIN – Thomas William “Tommy” Andrews, 58, of the Red Hill Community, died Sunday, November 15, 2009, at the St. Mary’s Hospice House in Athens.
Born on October 20, 1951, in Commerce, he was the son of the late Gartrell and Margaret Seagraves Andrews. He was a graduate of Commerce High School and of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Ark. He was a sales representative for Fleming Food Service, where he won the million dollar sales record for three years in a row. He was a member of the Allens United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Milford Smith Andrews; daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Jason Brunton, Pflugerville, Texas, and Pam Moore, Comer, Lisa and Allison Alexander, Sandy Cross, Dannah and Gene Hagerty, Jefferson; grandchildren, Brianna, Jenna, Callie, Sara, Elise, Sophia, Dallas, Mackenzie; great-grandchild, Tybee; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janis and Gary Hart, Montgomery, Ala., and Carole and Terry McFarlin, Toccoa; and nephews, Jason Hart, Patrick Hart, and Shayne McFarlin.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 17, at 2 p.m., at the Allens United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joey Whitlock and Vince Head officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
