Ralph Hoose, 76, of Baldwin, died Monday, June 30, 2008, at Kindred Hospital, following an extended illness.
Born in Middelburg, N.Y., on April 30, 1932, he was the son of the late Leonard and Myrtle Caulkins Hoose. He attended Clarkesville Church of God, and was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Hoose; and several brothers and sisters. He enjoyed word search puzzles, automotive repair and was also very musically inclined, loved ones stated.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine Laymon Hoose, Baldwin; a daughter, Diane Hoose, West Exter, N.Y.; sons, Ralph Hoose Jr., Pensacola, Fla., Eugene Hoose, Brookfield, N.Y., Kirk Hoose, West Edmeston, N.Y., Kenneth Hoose, Keith Hoose and Kevin Hoose, all of Baldwin; sister, Gigner Diggs, Ohio; 21 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
