NICHOLSON – Neville Farmer, 91, died Thursday, November 12, 2009.
Born on September 22, 1918, he was the son of the late Willie Edgar and Oza Mae Crawford Farmer. He was a native of Jackson County, was a retiree of Southern Bell Telephone Company, and was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Farmer was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Helen Todd Farmer; four brothers and one sister, Crawford Farmer, Olin Farmer and Hirel Farmer of Nicholson, and Pete Farmer of Ohio, and Edna Good of Missouri.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Togie and Margaret Farmer, Asheville, N.C.; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 14, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home with the Rev. Monty Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, November 14, from 1 to 2 p.m.
