COMMERCE – Rickey George Chandler, 55, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at his residence.
Born in Commerce, he was the son of Billy and Genell Wilson Chandler.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Donna Barber Chandler, Commerce; a son, Bryan Chandler, Commerce; daughters, Holly Chandler Blalock and Samantha Chandler, both of Commerce, and Nicole Chandler Hanley, Danielsville; sister, Susan Chandler Everett, Lyman, S.C.; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 14, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, November 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
