GAINESVILLE – Charles Henry “Charlie Horse” Pass, 68, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009.
Born in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Hubert Roy and Pearl McDougale Pass. He was a truck driver with Grogan Trucking Company and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Gainesville. Mr. Pass was preceded in death by a daughter, Samantha Pass; and brother, Roy Pass.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Ronnie Brock, Hoschton, Kim and Jeff Jones, Cheryl and David McGehee, all of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Belvie and Larry Rooks; grandchildren, Jared, Jade, and Jenson Brock, Whitney, Hilarey, and Logan Jones, Kristin Cheek, Kayla Kelley, Dalton McMillan, and Drew McMillan; great-grandchildren, Braxton Brock and Caden Burkhalter.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 12, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Revs. Robbie Foster and Jack Burgess officiating. Burial will be in Evans Memory Gardens in Jefferson. Serving as pallbearers will be Jared Brock, Jensen Brock, Logan Jones, Drew McMillan, Dalton McMillan, Matt Cheek, Josh Hudgins, Brady Vaughn and Sam Waters.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
