WINDER – Shirley Ann Cain, 68, died Saturday, November 7, 2009.
Born in Cleveland County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Mozelle Childers. She was of the Baptist denomination.
Survivors include her husband, Horace Cain, Winder; a son, Bernard Bailey Jr., Winder; daughter, Desa Doster, Winder; grandchild, Brian J. Doster; great-grandchild, Aubrey Doster; brothers, Robert E. Childers, Mt. Airy, N.C., James Childers, Daniel Childers and Gene Childers, all of Winder; and sisters, Helen Hulet, Decatur, Betty Rutledge and Evelyn Gilreath, both of Bethlehem.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 10, at 2 p.m., at Smith Memory Chapel with the Revs. John Burchfield and Dave Fahner officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, November 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.
