Myrl Monree Sprinkles, 83, of Nicholson, died Monday, July 7, 2008, at her residence.
She was born in Towns County, the daughter of the late Ranzey and Este Eller. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and was a retired nurse. Mrs. Sprinkles was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Lee Sprinkles.
Survivors include sons, Roger Sprinkles, Nicholson, and Lanier Sprinkles, Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Flo Carter, Winterville; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 9, at 3 p.m., at the New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Stowers officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 8, at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
