WINDER – Jimmie Hunt, 57, died Monday, November 2, 2009.
A native of San Antonio, Texas, she had resided in Winder since 1982. She was the daughter of Mary Ledbetter and the late Jimmy Ledbetter. She had been the director of Kinder Care Learning Center for 37 years, and was a devoted Christian of the Baptist denomination.
Survivors include her husband, G. Michael Hunt; a son, J. Michael Hunt; siblings, Sandra Ledbetter and Charles Ledbetter, all of Winder, Peggy Whitt, Washington; and a niece and spouse, Tami and Jerry Robledo, Winder.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 5, at 1 p.m., from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Pritchett officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, November 4, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.

We have known Ms. Jimmie for years as my kids attended Kindercare under her care. We were saddened to hear this horrible news.....and so sorry. Jimmie was wonderful and truly cared deeply for the children. It was a blessing to have known her and I'm sure her presence will be terribly missed but her spirit will live on there forever. God Bless her and her family.
