Charlotte Waldo Sisk, 74, died Sunday, July 6, 2008, surrounded by family and friends, at St. Mary’s Hospice House in Athens, following a long battle with cancer.
She was the daughter of the late William Slaton and Ruby Wilson Waldo and was employed by Mayfield Dairy in Braselton. Mrs. Sisk was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Bird Waldo; brother, William Slaton Waldo; and son, Steven Michael Sisk.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Bob Sisk; daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte Ann and Tony Smith; sons and daughter-in-law, Bobby D. and Tamara Sisk and Slaton Waldo Sisk; brother, Albie Lamar Waldo; grandchildren, Tori Sisk, Saranne Sisk, Summer Sisk, Hunter Smith, Cheyanne Smith; and one great-grandson, Jaiden Dickison.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 9, at 3 p.m., at the Commerce Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at Jackson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 8, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
