HOSCHTON - Geraldine Berryman, 72, died Wednesday, October 28, 2009.
A native of Barrow County, she was the daughter of the late Howell and Lois Mauldin Parks. She was a retiree of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department and was a member of Walnut Fork Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Arlen Berryman, Hoschton; children, Denise Cantrell, Hoschton, Richard Berryman, Jefferson, Alan Berryman and Wayne Berryman, both of Hoschton, and Angie Griffeth, Danielsville; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Bobby Parks, Hoschton, and Jarrell Parks, Auburn.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 31, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Revs. Shane Caylor and Todd Coble officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, October 30, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
