WINDER - Carolyn Roberts, 66, died Wednesday, October 28, 2009.
Born in Barrow County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Kate Page Crowe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Clifford Roberts; and brother, James Crowe. Mrs. Roberts was a member of the Winder Church of The Lord Jesus Christ and was a retired seamstress.
Survivors include children, Scott Roberts, Arcade, Stanley Roberts and Cindy Cannon, both of Winder; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald Crowe, Conyers, and the Rev. Hugh Crowe, Helena; sisters, Nancy Anglin, Jefferson, and Marie Harrison, Winder.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 30, at 2 p.m., from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home, with the Revs. David Crowe and Hugh Crowe officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, October 29, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
