LAWRENCEVILLE – Frances Hardigree Hutchins, 79, died Saturday, October 24, 2009.
Born on May 13, 1930, in Hoschton, she was the daughter of the late Thedford and Varie Allen. She lived in Lawrenceville for 25 years, having moved from Oakwood. She spent her life dedicated to her family and her work, and was a member of the Center United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hutchins was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hutchins; a son, Terry Phillip Hardigree; and brother, Leroy Allen.
Survivors include children, Twanda and Bruce McElreath, Bethlehem, Tyron and Donna Hardigree, Dawsonville; sisters, Sue Meadows, Lawrenceville, Gloria “Priss” Clark, Hoschton; brothers, Bill Allen and Donald Allen, both of Hoschton; grandchildren, Ron Hardigree, Todd Hardigree, Cindy Hardigree, Aamna “Brandi” Khan, Terry Garrett, Jared Hardigree, Cameron Hardigree; eight great-grandchildren; and a special friend, George Wilson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 31, at 2 p.m., at the Center United Methodist Church in Hoschton with the Rev. Clinton Wise officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The remains will be placed in state at 1:30.
The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. Friday, October 30, at 7201 Jackson Trail, Hoschton, GA 30548.
