ILA – Judson Snead Sr., 75, died Thursday, October 22, 2009, at Embracing Hospice House.
Born in Knox County, Tenn., he was the son of the late Herndon G. and Nancy Winkle Snead. He was a woodworker, member of the Community Alliance Church, and was a United States Army veteran in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Snead was preceded in death by a son, Jerome Snead.
Survivors include his wife, Myra Worrell Snead, Loganville; sons, Judson Snead Jr., Dacula, and Jeff Snead, Loganville; daughters, Jan Frangreb, Simpsonville, S.C., and Judi Leavelle, Loganville; sisters, Mary Ester Parker, Tampa, Fla., and Rachel Hunt, Decatur, Ala; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 25, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Harp officiating. Burial will be at Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, October 25, from 12 to 2 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
