JACKSONVILLE, FLA. – Edward Allen Willis, 60, died Saturday, October 17, 2009, at the Dr. Gaston J. Acosta-Rua Center for Caring of Northeast Florida Community Hospice, following a long illness.
Born in Flushing, N.Y., he was the son of the late Alfred and Florence Masse Willis. He lived most of his life in Jacksonville, Fla., where he was a master carpenter.
Survivors include a grandson, Kanaan Wyatt, Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters, Cynthia Algrim, Jacksonville, Fla., and Donna Coghlan, Homer; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and loving friends.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, November 1, at The Pond behind his home place in Jacksonville, Fla.
