COMMERCE – Jean Louise Nylander, 83, died Thursday, October 15, 2009, at Hill Haven Nursing Home.
She was born in Allegheny County, Pa., the daughter of the late James S. and Floris Marx Irwin. She was a member of the Newnan First United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Nylander was preceded in death by a son, David Nylander.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert W. Nylander Sr., Commerce; sons, Jeffery Nylander, Gainesville, and Herbert W. Nylander Jr., Inman, S.C.; brother, James Irwin, Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Dorothy Latta, McKeesport, Pa.; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Sunday, October 18, from Jackson Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Paul Evans officiating.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
