JEFFERSON – Clarice Dekle Colombo, 89, died Friday, October 9, 2009.
Born on July 31, 1920, in Thomas County, she was the daughter of the late James R. and Annie Bulloch Dekle. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Wando Louis “Russ” Colombo.
Survivors include a daughter, Claire Colombo, Athens.
Graveside services will be held Monday, October 19, at 11 a.m., in the Ochlochnee City Cemetery in Ochlochnee, with Robert Ackerman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the Jefferson Public Library, 379 Old Pendergrass Rd., Jefferson, GA 30549.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr and Mrs Colombo were very sweet people who my grandmother (Gladys Cook) loved dearly. They will be missed. My prayers are with you Claire.
