COMMERCE – Delan Alexis Diaz died Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens.

He was the infant son of Alexis Diaz and Camille Swain of Commerce.

Survivors in addition to his parents include grandparents, Larry and Tina Swain, Commerce, and Tomas and Maudalena Diaz, El Salvador; great-grandmothers, Louise Swain and Maudane Edge, both of Commerce.

Graveside services will be held Friday, October 9, at 3 p.m., at Grey Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Holladay officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, October 9, from 12 to 2:30 p.m.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.

Delan, Your momma was so happy about you coming into this world. I didnt get to meet you. I wish could have met you. You are in a better place now. You were a gift to your momma. R.I.P Delan.... Camille I am sorry for the loss I know it's not easy. if you need anything you can email me on myspace and I will talk to you about anything you want to talk about.
