JEFFERSON – Joseph Roger Dixon, 63, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009.
He was the son of the late Johnnie Lou Hollis Dixon and was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Lance Cannon. He worked as a service representative with a telemarketing company and was a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Shirley Stansel, Joanne Rainwater, and Keith Lance, all of Pendergrass, and Tommy Lance, Homer.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 10, at 11 a.m., from the Woodbine Cemetery in Jefferson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, October 9, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
