Tim Taylor

HOSCHTON – Tim Taylor, 50, formerly of Buford, died Thursday, October 1, 2009.

Born on January 26, 1959, in Gwinnett County, he was the son of Minnie S. Taylor of Buford and the late Nelson Taylor. He was a 1977 graduate of North Gwinnett High School of Suwanee and was self-employed in the flooring industry. He was an avid hunter, golfer, and an outdoorsman.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife of nine years, Dege Taylor, Hoschton; goddaughter, Chrissa Lester; sisters, Gail Taylor McCuen, Buford, and Dawn Taylor Sisum, Hull; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Nancy Taylor, Clarksville, Tenn.; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 5, at Buford Church of God with Pastor Edward Davenport officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Flanigan Funeral Home for expenses of Tim Taylor in memory of Tim Taylor.

Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, was in charge of arrangements.
