Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Woodrow McDonald and Geneva Yarborough Dunnigan.
Survivors include her husband, George Williams; children, Susan Crowe, Kathy Cameron, Ronanne Brown, and George (Debra) Williams, Jr.; grandchildren, Brandon Brooks, Justin Duke, Alex Crowe, Brittany Fowler, Sarah Williams, and Jimmy Cameron; great-grandchildren, Brinden Brooks, Brinley Brooks, Adison Fowler, Bentley Fowler, and Elijah DeCruz.

Charles was born to the late William Guy Dalton and Ella Rea Cook Dalton. He is preceded in death by his wife, Emma Jean Cobb.

Mr. Smith was born in Winder, the son of the late Herman and Clara Evelyn Craven Smith. A graduate of Jefferson High School, Ronnie was an active member of the Jefferson Dragon Booster Club, a member of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson and was the owner of Ronnie Smith Appliance Repair.

DANIELSVILLE - Roger Howard Williams, 86, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018.
Born in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Willie Howard Williams and Willie Inez Minish Williams. Mr. Williams was a Veteran of the United States Army, where he was a Platoon Sergeant. He was an avid NASCAR fan, specifically Bill Elliott, and he enjoyed watching the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers and Georgia Bulldogs Football. His favorite hobby was cutting grass on his John Deere riding mower. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Brock Williams; and his sister, Betty Williams Agnew.
Survivors include his daughter, Regina Williams Embrick; siblings, Bobbie Williams Rooker, Bonnie Williams Voyles, Robert Williams, Berry Williams and Amory Williams; and his beloved dog, Bodie.

She was a daughter of the late James L. and Lois Rish Dean. Janet had resided in Barrow County for most of her life and was a member of People's Baptist Church and attended Midway Christian Church. She had been employed as a seamstress at Empire Manufacturing Company.

He was preceded in death by a brother, James Schmidt; and son, Denny Hudson; and his wife, Geneva Buice Schmidt.

Alexander Philip Richards, 11, earned his angel wings and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 15, 2018.
Alex was a happy, fun-loving, inspirational boy that had a huge impact on everyone that he met. Alex was born in Lawrenceville, Ga. Alex loved his family, but most important to him was his sister. He loved to swim, ride his bike, watch the New York Rangers, attend hockey games, go to camp, but most of all, Alex was known as the Lego Master. He loved all Legos and put them on "display only", not allowing anyone to touch them. Alex was diagnosed with cancer at the tender age of four and has fought that battle for seven years. He was diagnosed four times and his little body fought until it could not fight anymore.

Vivian Taylor Simmons, beloved mother, sister and aunt, was finally able to go home on September 17, 2018.
Born May 3, 1927, she was the daughter of Henry Rainer Taylor and Lena Remell Taylor in Jacksonville, Fla., and spent most of her life in Orlando, Fla. She attended Rollins College in Winter Park, studying commercial art, and in 1949, married Doyle Malcolm Jones, Sr. Together they had two children, Bonnie Gayle and Doyle Malcolm Jr. She was a talented floral designer but found her true calling as a water safety instructor, first with the Orange County American Red Cross, and later as the aquatics director for Rio Pinar Country Club. Over the years, she taught many children to swim, saving countless lives in the process. The daughter and mother of firemen, she served as a fire commissioner for the Killarney Volunteer Fire Department. She was a resident of Jefferson, Ga. for the last 10 years of her life. She was preceded in death by her father and mother; sister, Marva, and son, Doyle M. "Mike" Jones, Jr. She leaves behind her loving daughter, Bonnie, Jefferson; sister, Angela D. Bryan (Burrell), Apopka, Fla.; niece, Shannon Elaine Bryan, Winter Park, Fla.; and nephew, Ashley Ray Bryan, Orlando, Fla.

MAYSVILLE - Elsie Mae Duffey Clark, 90, previously of Grantville, died Monday, September 17, 2018, at her residence.
Mrs. Clark was born in Newnan, the daughter of the late Ollie Russell and Mary Gladys Stitcher Duffey. Mrs. Clark was married on September 21, 1945, in Coweta County to the late Everett Clark. She was a homemaker and a mother, a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Maysville, where she has resided the past 15 years, and was previously a member of the First Baptist Church of Grantville, where she lived for 33 years. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her son, Everett Augustus Clark; and her siblings, Lester (Buck) Duffey, Ray Duffey, Earl Duffey, and Jean Norton.
